Tonight there was a charity match for kids (or something) between Man Ure and a European XI. The mancs won by 4-3.
I know it was for a good cause but couldn’t the cause have just been for kids and not include a celebration of Man Utd’s 50 years in Europe (obviously not consecutive haha)?
Almost as funny as the half-hearted boos for Steven Gerrard and Robbie Fowler was the commentary on El Hadji Diouf (selfish spitting bastard that he is, didn’t give the ball up for a penalty after already scoring a goal himself. It’s like, Diouf, no one is really going to think you’re any good anyway if you score it or not!)…
Commentator: “He’s an interesting character El Hadji Diouf…he divides opinion throughout the footballing world.”
Yes. Some people think he’s a prick. The rest just think he’s a twat.
